We are currently looking for a Senior Software Engineer (PHP/Laravel) who can turn our products into easy-to-use solutions for our clients.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• You will design, architect, build, and maintain complex systems.
• Design and develop web applications according to technical and functional specifications.
• Build efficient, testable, and reusable PHP modules.
• Solve complex performance problems and architectural challenges for our existing products.
• To perform R&D work based on newer ideas and concepts to enhance web user experience.
• You will work with multiple stacks and also with other languages other than PHP when necessary.
• Help and mentor Junior developers for their personal development and to follow best practices.
• Conduct regular feedback reviews, provide support in DevOps, facilitate standards and quality within the team and reduce technical debt.

Requirements:

• More than 4 years of web application development experience with PHP and Javascript.
• Having already gained several years of experience with Laravel and Vue/React/Angular.
• Deeper Understanding of Laravel ecosystem e.g (Eloquent ORM & Relationships, Service Container, Facades).
• You are familiar with REST API / GraphQL, JWT, SPA and SSR. 
• Experience with MySQL databases is desirable (PostgreSQL plus).
• Testing with PHPUnit / Dusk, Jest.
• Experience with teamwork using Git.
• Enthusiasm for modern (web) technologies.

Optional, but good to have:

• Understanding of performance and scalability aspects of web applications
• Linux, Docker, BASH Scripting, Github Action.
• Application deployment experience with AWS / GCP.
