If you missed it or want to reminisce, here are the key highlights from WordCamp Europe 2024.
WCEU 2024: The Event Overview At A Glance
From the 13th to the 15th of June, in the beautiful city of Torino, Italy, more than 2,000 WordPress enthusiasts gathered, making this year’s WordCamp Europe the most thrilling to date. However, we WPDeveloper as a team could not join like we used to do each year because of having a date clash with Eid-Ul-Adha (one of the most important religious events in the Muslim calendar). But as a representative from the entire team, our CMO, Afshana Diya, left no stone unturned to witness the biggest WordPress gathering in Europe.
The venue for the event was the Lingotto Conference and Exhibition Centre where WordPress enthusiasts from diverse backgrounds came together, fostering collaboration for a more inclusive WordPress ecosystem. A point to mention – in comparison with previous WordCamps’ venues, this year’s venue was more spacious which made networking with fellow enthusiasts easier.
However, in the summer heat of Torino, WordCamp Europe 2024 was electrifying. The venue buzzed with an energy that matched Italy’s warm temperatures. The three-day event includes:
- Over 2,000 participants from 70+ countries
- 60 presentations and workshops
- 50+ speakers
- 40+ sponsors
