Step 1
Open your WordPress Dashboard and Navigate to Tools>>Import. Click on the Install Now button under the Tumblr options.

After the installation is complete click on the Run Importer button.

To proceed to the next step click on the Green Register Application button.

Fill out the following fields and keep the rest blank.
- Application Name
- Application Website
- Default Callback URL
- Application Description
- Administrative contact email

After you submit the form you will be taken to a new prompt. It will have the OAuth Consumer Key and Secret Key for your Tumblr App.
Step 7
Remember I asked you to keep the Import Tumblr Tab open. Keep the Registration Tab open and go back to Import Tumblr Tab. But first copy both the both the OAuth Consumer Key and Secret Key. Now paste them inside the specified fields on Import Tumblr page and hit the Connect To Tumblr button.
Click on “Authorize the Application.”
Step 8
Click on the Allow button to proceed to the next step.
Step 9:
You will now see posts that are associated with your Username and Email Address. To initiate the Importing process click on the Import this Blog button.
Step 10:
You can see the imported posts by navigating to WP Admin → Posts.
Once the import is complete you can erase your Tumblr Account Information by clicking on the “Clear Account Information.” button.
