Wow! We’re so thrilled to announce that, with all of you onboard, Essential Addons for Elementor has reached the milestone we didn’t even dream about when starting it: as of today, 1 million users are using Essential Addons to create their WordPress websites.

When we introduced Essential Addons for Elementor, we were one of the very first extensions to enhance page building in Elementor by expanding its elements library. Since the beginning of our journey in 2017, our goal has always been to take your Elementor page building experience to new heights.
We are excited that today, we’ve reached 1,000,000+ users and all thanks to YOU! From our earliest users to the newest in our community, each and every one of you has helped us to reach this huge milestone of 1 million users.
The Journey So Far: How We Reached 1 Million Users
At WPDeveloper, we have always understood the potential of Elementor from the very beginning, back when it was just starting out. It was with immense excitement that we decided to help the community by introducing an addons library that will bring more features alongside Elementor.
From that very early stage, we began to introduce highly requested elements that you were looking for in Elementor, and went all in to make Essential Addons for Elementor the ultimate addons library for web creators like you. We started out with a few essential and most wanted widgets from the community such as Post Grid, form plugins, Testimonials, Flip Box, Pricing Tables, just to name a few.
At first, we were a very small team consisting of passionate WordPress enthusiasts. But as Essential Addons for Elementor grew, our team also grew exponentially. We now have full departments for Developer, Support, QA, Marketing, Content, and Design, so that together, we can enhance your Elementor page building experience by improving our product and introducing as many unique, creative elements as we can.
Over the course of this 3.5 years, as we added new widgets for Elementor and improved the user existing ones and we began to see a huge rise in our growth curve. In few months, we unlocked our very first milestone of 10,000 active users!
Little did we know, it was only the beginning.
December 2018: By the time 2018 came to an end, we had over 100,000 happy users who were delighted with Essential Addons for Elementor. This was one of the first of our biggest milestones, but it certainly wasn’t the last.
June 2019: Not even 6 months had passed since hitting 100K users, by mid 2019, we had reached 200,000 happy users. Since then, it’s been a constant upward rise.
September 2019: We reached 300,000 active users after 200k only in 3 months.
January 2020: By the time 2020 rolled in, we had 400,000 web creators who were actively using Essential Addons for Elementor.
March 2020: Less than 3 months later, we had reached 500,000 active installations on WordPress. And the number has been rising every few months ever since.
Now finally, as we say goodbye to February of 2021, we are also celebrating one of the most memorable milestone for our team. On 28th February 2021, Essential Addons for Elementor had crossed the 1 million users mark. This means that today, for every 5 website creators who create website with Elementor, there is at least one among them who is using Essential Addons for Elementor to take web design to the next level.
Changed The Game With Essential Addons 3.0: Faster Page Building Experience For Elementor
As we grew bigger, we knew we had to step up our game not only by introducing new features but also by making better user experience with Essential Addons for Elementor.
With this goal in mind, we released Essential Addons 3.0, one of our biggest and most important updates for completely improving sitewide performance.
Most notably, we made Essential Addons for Elementor faster by optimizing the whole plugin and revamping the entire coding structure so only the scripts of the elements used on a particular page would be loaded. This was done so that each of your web pages can load quickly at lightning-fast speed for the best experience.
We modified the Elements Control option and added an option for globally disabling all widgets at once when you need to.
Besides this, we also added a Clear Cache feature to help you easily resolve issues when generating new files for your WordPress website. All of this was done for one purpose only: to provide best page building experience for Elementor users.
